American Born Chinese-Gene Luen Yang: Pop Mythology & Community Angst

American Born ChineseAmerican Born Chinese by Gene Luen Yang

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A little pop mythology, some displaced community angst and teenage confusion….all make for a lovely story. The three tales unexpectedly weave into each other. As an Indian, I could recognize the cultural turmoil while also being fascinated by the native stories of a foreign land.
