Sepia Tones


“Will you blog about today?” he murmured.

Outside almost curtained windows, a hot afternoon had turned to the kind of evening she’d describe as romantic or dreary depending on who she spent it with. End of day or night being born, depending on who she answered.

Inside, she thought, was like a sepia toned photograph.

    Did the protagonist finally find some peace in the sepia tone or was it a detached observation by a stanger on the shore yonder.

    Khush: There is peace in detachment, isn’t there? And ‘sepia tones’ evoke different sentiments in different people….what do they do to you?

    To me sepia would definitely be a introspection with the shackles of civility cracking from the galloping force of will and imagination, thereby delivering me to the azure horizon.
