Short Haired Women

The thing to do with a really short hairdo is to wear lots of make-up OR big earrings.
It helps people realise that you’re a woman. (especially after this disaster)

  1. my hair’s about as short as yours…maybe even a tad bit shorter when it was initially styled in January! I tend to stick to minimalist, tiny earrings and perhaps a bolder neck accessory/ jewellery… :)

@eccentricspeak: But darling, you never get mistaken for a guy, do you? I have been (or so the owners of those wandering hands claim). This is just to be extra extra sure. Or maybe I just like statement jewellery in my ears. :-D

I envy women who can carry off short hair! Uber-chic and SO hassle free. But you’ve got to have the face and hair texture for it :( and I sadly don’t!
Big earrings I agree would always add to a short-haired look, and not necessarily just to confirm that you’re a woman! :D

  3. @ideasmithy : somehow I missed your comment earlier… however, let me just add….when i first snipped my hair as short as i did, one of the ‘compliments’ (if I could say so) I received was….”you now look like a 13 year old boy”. I still don’t know whether to laugh or cry!
